As giddy as I am about returning to my beloved America (more to come on the new house and job), I am equally as thankful about having a few more months in England. Spring has sprung, and the April showers are bringing some ridiculous flowers. On the way home from meeting my friend Zoe for tea, I had to stop multiple times to employ the point-and-shoot. Eventually, I dismounted entirely from my bike. I felt I had become a danger to pedestrians by the way I was wildly swerving and gawking and admiring my surroundings. Luckily, the city is virtually empty because everyone is still on Easter break; so, no tourists were harmed during the making of these pictures.

| I think I have pointed out this sundial(?) tower in the Senate House Passage before. But, it always catches the light in such a perfectly regal way. |
| Matthew and I often cross that little wooden bridge on our way into the city center. I gasp every time I see the carpet of wildflowers in the shade under the trees. |
| See how empty the river is? Not too many punts on a gorgeous afternoon, which is another indicator that everyone is at home for the term break. The views of the Backs from this bridge are some of my favorites. |
| I loved the dark rain clouds in the distance. They magnified the gorgeous bright colors of the foliage, bridges, and boats. |
| I've probably ridden past this building thousands of times and hardly noticed it. I've never been to Virginia, but this is what I imagine it to look like for some reason. |
| And yeah, I don't even know what to say about this one. |
Seriously, somebody pinch me. I must be dreaming.
